A warm bistro
Bistro Luna is the story of Peter, Esther and their dream of building a warm, accessible bistro in Ostend.
Peter is in the kitchen. His passion for cooking started in childhood and developed at Hotelschool Spermalie in Bruges. For him, cooking is about taste, quality and honest dishes prepared with care.
Esther is the hostess of Bistro Luna. With her Hungarian background, she grew up in a culture where sharing food and hospitality are central.
On 23 June 2025, we opened Bistro Luna. The name was not chosen by chance: Luna is our daughter and the heart behind our dream.
Together with our team, we want Bistro Luna to be a place where everyone feels welcome - for lunch, dinner, coffee with dessert or an evening with family and friends.
